WHAT IT'S USED FOR

Hartz® UltraGuard Plus™ Flea & Tick Drops for Dogs and Puppies is scientifically proven protection plus prevention of fleas and ticks. Because fleas can lay up to 50 eggs a day it is imperative to use a product that breaks the flea life cycle. This complete formula prevents re-infestation for up to 30 days.

Topical drops are a convenient once a month application.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

DO NOT USE ON CATS

1. Remove one applicator tube from package and hold in an upright position.
2. Pull cap off. Turn the cap around and place on top of tube.
3. Press cap down to break the seal of tube.
4. Remove cap carefully. Position the tip of the tube on the dog's back between the shoulder blades and squeeze out half the contents of the tube.
5. Invert the applicator tube upright and go to the dog's tail. Position the tip of the tube at the base of the tail and apply the remaining contents of the tube to the top of the dog’s rump near the base of the dog's tail.
6. Repeat every month.

1. Sortir un tube applicateur du paquet et le tenir en position verticale.
2. Enlever le capuchon. Renverser le capuchon et le placer sur l’ouverture du tube.
3. Peser sur le capuchon pour briser le sceau.
4. Enlever soigneusement le capuchon. Placer le bout du tube sur le dos du chien, entre les omoplates, et presser le tube pour en extraire la moitié du contenu.
5. Inverser le tube applicateur verticalement et aller à la queue du chien. Placer le bout du tube à la base de la queue et appliquer le reste du contenu du tube sur le haut de la croupe, près de la base de la queue.
6. Répéter chaque mois.

Do not use this product more often than once every 3 weeks. Reapply every month for continual pest control in situations where there is an ongoing risk of pest infestation. Do not use on animals under 12 weeks of age. Do NOT administer by mouth. Consult a veterinarian before using on sick, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals receiving drug or other pesticide treatment. RETAIN PACKAGING INFORMATION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Ne pas utiliser ce produit plus d’une fois toutes les 3 semaines. For effective flea and tick control, treatment of the pet should be combined with sanitation of any area used by the pet. Vacuum floors, carpets and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use) and wash the pet’s bedding, living quarters and surrounding areas. If pest problems persist, an insecticidal premise treatment may be required. A veterinarian should be consulted when pest infestation continues to be a problem on the pet.

Pour être efficace contre les puces et les tiques, le traitement de l'animal doit être combiné à la désinfection des lieux fréquentés par l’animal. Passer l'aspirateur sur le plancher, les moquettes et les meubles (jeter le sac de l'aspirateur après usage) et laver le couchage de l’animal, ses quartiers et les environs. PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

HUMANS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Harmful if swallowed. May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and clothing. Use rubber gloves when applying product. Avoid contact with pet until dry. After handling or applying, wash hands (or any other skin that came into contact with the product) with soap and water. PETS: Toxic to cats. Cats that actively groom or engage in close physical contact with recently treated dogs may be at risk of harm.

PRÉCAUTIONS

FIRST AID

HUMANS: IF SWALLOWED: Call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15–20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15–20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. PETS: Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Take container and Pest Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

PREMIERS SOINS

PERSONNES : EN CAS D’INGESTION, appeler un centre antipoison ou un médecin immédiatement pour obtenir des consignes de traitement. Ne rien administrer par la bouche à une personne inconsciente. EN CAS DE CONTACT AVEC LA PEAU OU LES VÊTEMENTS : retirer les vêtements contaminés. Rincer immédiatement la peau à grande eau pendant 15 à 20 minutes. Appeler un centre antipoison ou un médecin pour obtenir des consignes de traitement. EN CAS DE CONTACT AVEC LES YEUX, tenir les paupières ouvertes et rincer doucement et lentement à l'eau pendant 15 à 20 minutes. Le cas échéant, retirer les lentilles de contact après 5 minutes et continuer de rincer les yeux. Appeler un centre antipoison ou un médecin pour obtenir des consignes de traitement. ANIMAUX DE COMPAGNIE : L'utilisation de N’IMPORTE QUEL pesticide pour animaux de compagnie peut causer une sensibilité. En cas de signes de sensibilité, laver l’animal avec un savon doux et rincer abondamment. Si les signes de sensibilité persistent, consulter immédiatement un vétérinaire.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in a cool, dry place away from food and out of the reach of children. Do not reuse empty container. Wrap and dispose of empty container with household garbage.

ENTREPOSAGE ET ÉLIMINATION DU PRODUIT

Entreposer au frais et au sec, à l’écart des aliments et hors de la portée des enfants. Ne pas réutiliser le contenant. Emballer le contenant vide et le jeter aux ordures ménagères.
